Oathbringer, heavy metal enthusiasts hailing from Kragujevac, took their first steps onto the scene in 2019, under the leadership of Lazar Zakić and Miloš Stošić. This band, still in its project phase at the time, embarked on their journey by releasing two demo tracks on YouTube under the name "Riddle of Steel." These were early signs of future success.
The following year, in 2020, Oathbringer became a full-fledged band with the addition of Bora Petrović and Petar Đorđević. With this fresh lineup, the band earnestly began working on their debut album.
The year 2021 was pivotal for the band, marking the start of demo recording for their debut album. This period of intense creative process culminated in 2022 when they officially released their first album titled "Tales of Glory." The album saw the light of day thanks to the collaboration with RTR Records from Texas, marking the band's first significant milestone in the music industry.
In the same year, Oathbringer had the honor of performing at two of the most prestigious domestic festivals, Arsenal Fest and Exit Festival, introducing themselves to audiences across Serbia and making waves in the metal community.
However, 2023 brought its challenges. In February, due to personal reasons, Petar Đorđević departed from the band. His place was taken by Igor Stanić, after which the band entered the studio to record their second album. Unfortunately, Igor couldn't fully commit to the band and made the decision to leave shortly after.
Oathbringer did not allow adversity to hinder their path. In July of the same year, Petar Đorđević returned to the band, making them a complete lineup once again. This comeback was marked by
their first international performance at the Running Free Fest in Bulgaria, offering an exceptional opportunity for the band to showcase their talent to an international audience.
The next change in the band occurred in September when Miloš Stošić decided to focus solely on vocals, handing over the bass guitar position to Aleksandar Milutinović.
With all these challenges and changes, Oathbringer continues its musical adventure. In early 2024, the band eagerly anticipates the release of the second album from their trilogy, titled "Tales of Valor," promising to continue their epic musical journey.
